What is a Care Group?
A Care Group is a small gathering of 4–20 people who meet regularly, both in person and online, for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, evangelism, and discipleship. These groups provide a welcoming environment where people can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, build meaningful friendships, and support one another in their faith journey.
The vision of the Care Group Ministry is to make disciples who make disciples, with the goal of multiplying healthy groups throughout homes, neighborhoods, and communities. Care Groups are not simply meetings; they are places where believers grow spiritually, care for one another, and actively participate in God’s mission.
Impact and Growth
Care Groups continue to be one of the most effective ministries of Dhaka AG Church for discipleship, outreach, and church planting.
In 2024, Dhaka AG Church had approximately 230 Care Groups and House Fellowships, and in 2025 that number grew to approximately 265 Care Groups and House Fellowships. These include home-based fellowships, community groups, project-level gatherings, Savings Groups, and online groups serving people in different locations.
Through Care Group activities, several churches have been planted and strengthened in areas such as Dumni, Bihari Camp, Chor Sindhu, Old Dhaka, and the Hill Tracts. In addition, the Community Health Education (CHE) and DAG-HOPE ministries have established more than 25 new Savings and Care Groups this year, creating opportunities for spiritual growth, community development, and outreach among families and communities.
Today, hundreds of Care Groups and House Fellowships are helping believers grow in their faith while reaching new people with the Gospel throughout Bangladesh.

We encourage every member of Dhaka AG Church to actively participate in the Care Group Ministry by joining, hosting, or leading a Care Group in their home or community. Opening your home for fellowship and discipleship can become a powerful way to share God’s love and strengthen His Church.

These gatherings provide an important opportunity to know the Lord more deeply, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and serve others in love.
