We run two homes in two places to help the underprivileged children. One of these places is in Dhaka and the other one is in the Hill area.

Uttara Girls Home

Uttara is situated in the north part of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. There are 24 girls living in this hostel. This home was initiated to take the girls of a high risk area and place them in a secured environment where they can receive education as well as form a character. We are mostly helping the poor families from all over Bangladesh. We are specially focusing on girls from the neglected tribal areas. Lack of motivation for education for girls in tribal area is a problem we face often. But things are changing.
There are two full time staff and a lot of volunteers who help out in different ministries to help the children. Sometimes, guest volunteers also come and help these girls.

Chittagong Hill Tract

This hostel is located in the Hill District of Bandarban in a town called Ali Kadam. This is a neglected area of Bangladesh and very under-developed. For many years, there has been an insurgency in this area but now is relatively peaceful all over the region. There are several tribes who live in this south-eastern tip of Bangladesh, but majority of them are Tripura, Chakma and Murong. Education is one of the major needs of this region. Not many NGOs work here. We have a hostel in the flatland where the children from all over that mountain region come to study as there are no schools in those hilly regions. There are four full time staff and very few volunteers are available due to the distance of this location.

Please keep these students in your prayer as the Lord helps them to grow physically and Spiritually.
